Due to the increasing standards of modern deliverables, current industry image quality demands such as Ultra HD, 

High Dynamic Range, and Wide Color Gamut, and an increase in customer and end-user demand for external filters 

of the highest quality, ARRI was inspired to create their own FSND external filter. ARRI is already very familiar with 

premium filters; the ALEXA Mini and the AMIRA cameras come equipped with an internal FSND filter that is highly 

respected in the industry and purely color neutral. Now, the unsurpassed dynamic range of ARRI’s camera sensors 

do not have to be diminished or distorted by external filters of lesser quality.

ARRI´s Rota Pola Filter Frames offer a high-end polarizing glass filter integrated in a filter frame. A friction wheel allows to

turn the filter to the desired position from outside. An additional locking lever prevents the glass from turning after set to

the right position. The polarizing filter takes less than 1.2 stops of light. It ships in a filter pouch.

ARRI Impression V Filters consist of four positive and four negative diopter filters. They can be attached to the back of all

Signature Prime and Signature Zoom lenses via the built-in rear magnetic filter adapter and form a great opportunity to

change the way how Signature lenses capture images. Thanks to the easy exchangeability of the different filters, a variety

of different looks can be created with just a single set of lenses.

The four positive Impression V Filters are called IV 070P, IV 140P, IV 230P, and IV 330P. The four negative filters are called

IV 050N, IV 100N, IV 200N, and IV 290N. For both the positive and the negative filters, the increasing numbers correspond

to a stronger diopter effect.

The filters are available in various configurations. An all-in-one solution is provided by means of the ARRI Impression V

Filter Kit. Individual filter types can also be ordered in the form of ARRI Impression V Filter Packs. In addition, shims and

inscribable velcros which are included in the kit, can be ordered separately as well.
