The Camera Comfort Cushion is a shoulder pad designed for camera operators to help prevent shoulder pain and discomfort associated with continuous shooting. Our cushion is designed to give maximum flexibility suited to the camera operator and his or her equipment. The cushion works with a variety of camera sizes from shoulder mounted MiniDV cameras, to broadcast sized cameras and motion picture film cameras. The Camera Comfort Cushion is made with a 2mm Neoprene top. The bottom is made with a non slip neoprene mesh, which clings to the shoulder, allowing minimal movement of the comfort cushion. 

Depending on personal comfort, each Cushion comes with a variety of inserts, which fit inside a zipper pocket. They range in thickness and density and can be arranged to the Operator’s preference. After several uses, the inserts mold to the operators shoulder making it a perfect fit. The Comfort Cushion is designed to hold up to 1 1/2'' of padding.

The Camera Comfort Cushion has two adjustable nylon straps with buckles that keep it in place. One strap wraps underneath the right arm to a side release buckle, while the other strap wraps around the chest.

The Camera Comfort Cushion is 7 1/2 '' long by 7 1/2” wide. The pad pocket is 7 1/2” long by 4 1/2” wide. There is a 7'' zipper attached to the front to easily insert the foam pads. The XL Pad comes with 3/4 Inch Rubber Pad and 1/16" Plastic Insert. 

No other pads are available for the XL Pad.

2EyeTec PL-Mount MacroRing

The MacroRing works by increasing the extension of your lens. It moves your lens further from the sensor plane, and the front element closer to the subject. The closer you can focus, the more magnification you get. You can easily mount it on any PL-Mount lens.

A 50mm Zeiss Ultra Prime for instance has a MOD of ca. 50cm and the magnification at this distance is 1:7,8. The MacroRing shifts this to a ca. 25cm - which is half of it and doubles the magnification factor.

Technically speaking the magnification factor of a macro lens is >1. With the MacroRing attached you cannot focus to infinity. The MacroRing does not replace a real macro lens! It is more intended as tool that AC has in its tool bag in the very likely case of unplanned close-up shots.

The L3 Tuner is Module 8’s co-founder Iain A. Neil signature look and is the culmination of decades of experience designing some of the most iconic cinematic lenses, especially anamorphic. L3 gives you the funky astigmatic characteristics of classic anamorphic lenses, even though you are using spherical optics. L3 will simulate the vertical / horizontal depth of field effects seen on vintage anamorphic glass (without the flares or bokeh). Most lens tunings focus on halation and glow, or simple filed curvature. The L3 creates a very complex effect that adds off-axis character.
